I decided to venture into the beauty industry in 2003 and trained in nail enhancements - Acrylic, Gel, Manicures, Pedicures & spray tanning. I started mobile work initially, then found our first premises in 2004. We moved to Woorygoose Lane in 2007 and since then we have built up a loyal and extensive client base. I love transforming hands with the art of Acrylics & Gels, there's so much you can achieve to ensure your clients leave feeling pampered and special. I'm very lucky to have an amazing and devoted team to work with, we all have different strengths and deliver to the highest standard and most importantly always have fun. Louise
Manager and Beauty Therapist
Hi I’m Louise and I am the Senior Therapist and Salon Manager at pinx. I have been in the beauty industry now for 17 years, after completing my NVQ level 2 and 3 in beauty therapy at Rother Valley College. I have worked for Carrie at Pinx for over 11 years, I absolutely love my job and I am so lucky to work in such a friendly and professional salon. I feel very honoured to have built up such a fantastic loyal client base over the years. The best thing about being a Beauty Therapist is the feeling of making my clients feel pampered and special. I have been on numerous courses with Dermalogica over the years and have successfully worked my way up to becoming a Dermologica Skin Care Specialist. I love educating my clients on their skin care needs, seeing the results we can achieve with a face treatment and a good home care regime. I look forward to seeing you soon at pinx!

Spa Body and Beauty Therapist
Meet Lauren our Spa & Body Beauty Therapist. Lauren has a diploma in Spa & Body along with qualifications in all Beauty and Massage treatments. Lauren has a passion for Massage and Facials and enjoys making her clients feel the tension slip away and relax as she removes all the stress from their day to day lives. Lauren offers an extensive list of treatments including all beauty treatments along with a variety of massages – Swedish, Lymphatic, Aromatherapy and Hot Stone. Spa body wraps & Slimming body wraps, Electrical facials, Vacuum suction facials, Microdermabrasion and Glycolic facial peels are a few of the new treatments we have introduced at pinx.

Hi my name is Ellie, I joined the Pinx team in 2017 and I am loving every second of it! I started studying beauty therapy from leaving school in 2012. I can’t say what treatments I enjoy doing the most, because I love everything about it, from performing the treatment to seeing our clients big smiles when the treatment is completed is just enough to love!

Hi, I'm Annie, I joined the pinx team in 2019. I am qualified in Acrylic and Gel nails, manicures, pedicures, waxing, tinting and spray tanning. I absolutely love my job meeting new clients and performing treatments to the best of my ability. In addition to treatments I also oversee the marketing for the salon through social media and other platforms. It's wonderful to see all the 5 star reviews we receive. Meet Logan, our fun talented therapist who loves her job & also believes in making everyone feel welcome and entertained when you come in to pinx. Logan has been in the industry since 2021, she has completed her Level 2 & 3 Beauty therapy, Acrylic & Gel nail courses, Spray Tanning, Dermaplaning, Lash lift and Brow lamination to name just a few. Logan loves to learn and is always looking at new courses so she can make you feel pampered when you visit.
Jordan
Creative Stylist, JOICO Colour Genius and Beauty Therapist
Hello, I am Jordan, the creative stylist and JOICO Colour Genius at pinx since 2015. I have always had a love for hair since I was young, nothing else interested me more, always experimenting with my own hair, changing the colour and style and trying out any new techniques. I started an apprenticeship with RCAT College in 2010 where I became NVQ level 2 qualified. In addition to that I completed a level 3 barbering course, which also included cut throat shaves. I then went on to do a hair extension course and I am fully qualified in Tapes, Nano rings, micro rings and LA Weave extensions. I have enjoyed introducing the men’s barbering and hair extensions to Pinx, bringing new treatments into the salon for our clients. I have been on various colour courses and attend the hair shows in London and Manchester to expand my knowledge and keep me up to date with all the new trends and looks. I completed a 10 month programme in October 2019 to become one of 10 people in the world to receive the JOICO colour genius award. I had the opportunity to work with the best people in the industry and learn from the best educators there are. I am not in the process of completing my JOICO colour genius level 2. I love a good challenge, so when a client walks into the salon wanting a whole new look I can’t wait to get my hands on their hair to give them a full transformation and experiment with new colours and cutting techniques. I also love to be the stylist to keep your style up to date and make my clients feel amazing! In addition to hair, I trained in acrylic and gel nail enhancements, waxing and makeup in 2018. Hi, I’m Sarah, I have been a hair stylist since 2004. I have my level 2 and 3 in hairdressing and have attended numerous colour courses to stay up to date on the latest techniques. I feel very lucky that I love all aspects of my job from a simple trim to a complete restyle and colour. I especially pride myself on put-ups, I have the ability to adapt and perform intricate styles, be it bridal hair or an occasion, I love to make you feel amazing on your special day. I look forward to seeing clients old and new in the salon soon.

Hi I am Ellie and I have been doing hairdressing for 8 years, I have worked at Pinx since July 2020. I enjoy all aspects of my job, I love transforming clients hair and making them feel amazing. I love doing colour changes and seeing the beautiful results I can achieve from start to the finished style. I especially enjoy doing hair ups for special occasions and weddings. Meet Lucy, who joined the team in November 2023, having started hairdressing in 2021. Lucy loves her job & since joining pinx, she has attended various training courses and workshops to develop her skills further within the industry. Lucy has a fabulous personality and loves making her clients feel special.
